SPARK After Dark
As the sun sets, the city comes alive! SPARK After Dark transforms the Nicholas Street Precinct with dazzling light projections, music, and live performance art. Stroll through the illuminated Tulmur Walk, where deLIGHT brings the facade to life with animated stories. Discover interactive neon instruments, and follow the glow towards Ipswich Civic Centre for even more SPARK surprises.

HEXADECA – The Musical Playground
Dance, move, and make music! HEXADECA invites visitors of all ages to interact with 16 colourfully lit platforms that respond to movement with sound. It’s music-making like you’ve never experienced before – fun, free, and totally addictive. Created by acclaimed artists Joren Dawson and Jascha Boyce and presented by Ipswich Festivals, this interactive playground will keep both kids and adults entertained.
The Bubble Canteen
Get ready to be surrounded by thousands of bubbles every minute! The Bubble Canteen is a joyful, immersive experience filling the air with shimmering spheres of all shapes and sizes. It’s like stepping into a dream — one that smells like childhood and looks like magic. Don’t miss this whimsical wonderland, presented by Ipswich Festivals and produced by The Mask Family.
