Day for Daniel

Join us for Day for Daniel at the Nicholas Street Precinct on Friday, 25 October, 2024, as we come together for Australia’s largest child safety education and awareness day. Held annually on the last Friday of October, Day for Daniel honours the life of Daniel Morcombe and supports vital conversations about child safety.

What is Day for Daniel?
Day for Daniel is a national movement encouraging Australians to wear red, educate, and donate in the spirit of child protection. This day invites parents, carers, educators, businesses, and the wider community to raise awareness and engage in child safety education activities.

At the Nicholas Street Precinct, we will create a space for learning, sharing, and supporting this important cause.

How You Can Get Involved:

  • Wear Red: Show your support by wearing red on the day to symbolize child safety awareness.
  • Educate: Parents, carers, and educators are encouraged to start essential conversations with children and young people about personal safety.
  • Donate: Contribute to initiatives that support child safety and raise awareness for this vital cause.

Let’s unite at the Nicholas Street Precinct to raise awareness and help make a safer environment for every child.
